Cody is a Brown Belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu under Nate Marquardt. He is currently teaching BJJ, MMA and Kickboxing at High Altitude as well as pursuing his dream of being an MMA champion. Cody has a great record in MMA and continues to improve his skill set. Because he is very technical and has a great attitude, Cody makes a great instructor.
Christian Allen

Christian Allen is Nate Marquaqrdt's first BJJ black belt. Currently he is his only black belt. Christian is an expert in Brazilian JiuJitsu, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts. He is well versed in Boxing, Wrestling and Judo as well. Christian has been training martial arts since 1995. For a while when Nate was fighting in Japan, Christian coached Nate and also cornered him in several fights, including his UFC debut. Christian is also a professional fighter and one of the top fighters out of Denver.
Igor Cosic
Igor is a Brown Belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu. Igor has worked with Nate for six years in Brazilian JiuJitsu. He is tremendously technical and continues to improve with his ground game. Igor has competed in many submission grappling tournaments and is a great instructor.

Brazilian JiuJitsu (BJJ)
Brazilian JiuJitsu is the ultimate in Self Defense. BJJ will teach you how to defend yourself standing and on the ground. BJJ is fun and effective for everyone no matter if you are young, old, big, small, man or woman. Because BJJ techniques are tested in real fights such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship, they are proven effective. High Altitude has four different BJJ classes.BJJ blue belt class is a beginner class that has no sparring.
BJJ purple belt class is a beginner/intermediate class where students will grapple with each other at a slow speed and learn some higher level techniques as well.The BJJ black belt class will teach advanced techniques and students will be able to grapple at a higher pace.
The Randori class is for students enrolled at the purple belt level and is mainly grappling sparring.
Muay Thai Kickboxing
Muay Thai Kickboxing is a form of kickboxing that originally comes from Thailand. Muay Thai utilizes punches, kicks, knees, elbows and head butts to devastate an opponent. Muay Thai is also a great cardiovascular workout. In the blue belt classes, students will learn the correct and most powerful way to throw a punch, kick, knee and combinations.
They will learn how to throw combinations and will participate in drills to improve their fighting skills. Purple belt classes will teach technique and students will participate in light sparring monitored closely by the instructor. Black belt classes will be mainly sparring and student be enrolled in the black belt program.
Youth TrainingYouth Training Children 5-12 years of age will learn all the basics of Brazilian JiuJitsu as well as Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Students will learn takedowns, positions, reversals, escapes, pins and more. Youth JiuJitsu classes will improve coordination, strength, self esteem, social skills and more all while teaching the children a life long skill.

Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) combines all styles that are effective in a real fight. It uses the strikes from Boxing and Muay Thai, the takedowns from Wrestling and Judo, and the submissions and positions from Brazilian JiuJitsu and Sambo. Students will learn techniques from all styles listed above. These classes are reserved for students with experience in one or more of the styles. Students need to be enrolled in our Black Belt program in order to attend these classes.
Facility
Not only will you get the best training, you will be in an atmosphere which is-non threatening. Our current locations has 4300 square feet of mat space. This includes spring loaded tatami mats and hanging heavy bags, a twenty foot ring and Olympic weights with other strength equipment. We also have a shower. Nate Marquardt
Nate “The Great” Marquardt. Nate started training when he was 15 years old in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Kenpo under Alistair Mcniven. He also started training Freestyle Wrestling at the age of 18 and training BJJ under Ricardo Murgel. Nate has also trained Kickboxing with the likes of Duane “Bang” Ludwig and Christian Allen. Nate won Bas Rutten invitational IV tournament in 1999 and in the same year he had his first fight overseas in Pancrase, but along with that experience came his first loss. Shortly after, Nate entered the 8 man tournament to crown the first middleweight champion (King of Pancrase) and won the first fight. Nate stayed training in Japan for 4 months and fought the second and third fights of the tournament and won. He continued training and fighting in Japan and spent total of 1 year training there. Nate has trained under Shane Pitts for three years and received a 2nd degree black belt in Japanese Ju-Jitsu. Over the course of his career in Pancrase he won the title 7 times. Nate spent time training at the Olympic Training Center practicing Freestyle Wrestling and in early 2005 received his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Master Ricardo Murgel. Nate also then started training with his current trainers, Trevor Wittman (boxing) and Greg Jackson (M.M.A.). Nate believes they are the highest level trainers one can have.
